Ghostwood Market

Lately I've been super into cultivating my collections. Zines and buttons are a few of these collections. Zines are fun to collect because they are easy to read little glimpses into the creators mind. The two that I got at this market are by the same creator. One was created around a poem that seems to be about meeting someone again from a different life. Honestly, lately it has been hard for me to find focus when I read literature so I'll have to come back to it to find the true meaning. The other one is about wanting to make a zine but putting too much pressure on oneself to the point where you almost don't want to. I really connected to this aspect; I felt like it relates to creating art in any medium. I put so much pressure on myself that what I create has to be good but in the end, it's the process that was fun about it anyway. In the end, you just have to start creating.

Besides zines, buttons are a fun item to collect since you can wear them to accesorize an outfit. I have been in need of some black and white pins that I can wear with any outfit so these two that I got fit that. The first one is by Khlorinated Goods who has been at Doll Funeral markets a few times. I also saw them at KeiCon. It's a pin with a picture waist down of Mana-sama saying "When I die, bury me in brand." The second is by the same creator of the zines; it simply says "soft" in a metal font. I love art that contradicts itself on purpose.

this is a place for thrift finds, second hand buys, market finds and basically anything else i buy and want to log here.
